The Bayside Mediation Story
With life beginning on a dairy farm in the Waikato, Rosemarie Brown has lived and worked in town and country, has a heart for the rural sector and an understanding of city life.
Twenty-five years in the business world across a wide range of sectors and organisations gave Rosemarie Brown an in-depth understanding of business disputes. She saw too much time, energy, and emotion spent on dealing with conflict and disagreements between people. In 2010, she founded Bayside Mediation in Australia and in 2012 in NZ to help business people resolve these time consuming, damaging issues more constructively.
Bayside began with a focus on business, but has since expanded to include family and relationship dispute resolution. She has a particular interest in family-owned business, which bring family and commercial issues together.
Rosemarie works hard to resolve disputes in a holistic, positive way. She acts as an impartial third party, and does her best to strengthen relationships and help people to find a way forward, rather than simply resolving the current dispute.
Although she started her career as an accountant (and remains a Chartered Accountant), Rosemarie is now a trained and experienced mediator and family business solutionist. She is an accredited Resolution Institute (LEADR) mediator, an Associate and Panel List Mediator with AMINZ, a registered FDR provider with the Ministry of Justice, and a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General’s office in Australia. She has hundreds of hours experience in family law mediation, and commercial ‘situations’ in New Zealand and Australia.
Please note that Bayside Mediation services based in Melbourne has limited services due to extended sick leave of Ann Harris. If you would like to know if Rosemarie Brown is able to assist in Australia – please text Rosemarie on (+61) 432 680 227.
